Born in Vancouver, Canada, Sasha Plavsic was raised to believe anything is possible, and everything is questionable. Her younger brother, now an Olympian, was born with asthma and suffered from numerous allergies. At the age of four, the doctors wanted to keep him in the hospital, indefinitely due to his acute asthma. Without hesitation, Sasha's mother refused to have her son “pumped full of drugs,” and decided to seek out an alternative route with organic food and homeopathy - it worked.

Sasha's own interest first fell into the design world, where she completed a degree in Typographic Design. This led to a passion for Branding and Marketing, where she was lucky to work alongside different fashion brands in London, New York and Southern California. Working in the industry for several years provided much exposure to the in's and out's of how a brand can grow and change. It was through this passion that she decided to start her own.
Returning to Vancouver in 2009, Sasha reconnected with her mom who was now on a new mission - in search of cleaner household and personal care products. Flipping through her makeup bag one day, led to the discovery that organic makeup needed its own “re-branding”, new contemporary colours, better packaging and product performance. With this in mind, Sasha became committed to producing safe beauty products that women can love for their look, and trust for their quality.
“Somebody recently said to me, that because it's organic it's good for you, and it doesn't matter if it doesn't work as well as the mainstream stuff - I intend to change their mind.” SP
