Finish with two coats of Limitless Lash Mascara to frame the eyes.
Suggested shade: After Midnight

Finish with multiple coats of Limitless Lash Mascara for maximum drama.
Suggested shades: After Midnight
The Artists
From music to makeup—three artists share the thru lines that connect their beauty rituals with their artist practices.
Painter | New York City, NY
Rory Gevis
Native New Yorker Rory Gevis has been an artist her whole life. “The light, the architecture, the shapes. Everything inspires me,” she says, “I can’t imagine a day going by, even if I’m not in the studio, and not doing something artistically.”
That includes her daily makeup ritual. “Using Thru Line is just another form of what I would normally do in my art… I create lines that become stories… and it’s never perfect—there’s always that mistake that makes it more special.” In life, as in art, Rory believes there are no rules. “Beauty changes,” she says, “It’s the mood, it’s a story that you’re telling yourself every day.”
Rory is wearing: Thru Line Waterproof Eyeliner in Serif + Graphite, Limitless Lash Mascara in After Midnight
“Beauty is not just about what someone looks like. It’s so much more than that, you know? It’s an emotion. It’s a narrative. It’s a mood. It’s a gesture.”
