At this point, I don’t know why I assumed that this, as with all other ILIA products I’ve tried, wouldn’t be new, different, and spectacular. It’s just a lip gloss, for heaven’s sake. Well, no, it’s much more than that. It’s like buttering your lips up so that they will love you. I’ve had countless “glosses” over the years and this is nothing like that sticky, smelly, flavored goop that your hair can easily get stuck in. Oh no. It’s like a super pigmented lip balm, but in a gloss container, applied like a gloss. I’m sure the shade I have has a lot to do with how much I love it, as Figure has become my daily driver, worn with NARS Marnie liner, but if I want to add a little drama, I pair this same shade with a bolder liner and I feel sexy as hell. My lips feel sexy as hell, too, both while dressed in this amazing gloss and after. It’s a perfectly colored treat for my pout.
