I received a free sample of this from ILIA in exchange for my honest opinions, and after using this for a few weeks now, I have to say that I love everything about it. I love the color and the shine it leaves on my lips. Since I started using this, I've never had such soft beautiful lips. Nuthin like a non powder blush! Smooth n more controlled with blending. I think it looks more natural. Plus being older ur skin just wants hydration n powders dont agree w my skin. Love. On auto ship

I love the texture and color but the cap falls off which has led to several mishaps given i didn’t realize i had some on my hands.
Like on nubuck or a shirt….
It doesn’t stay on that long for some reason - am I eating too often or are my lips slippery? No idea!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write your review! We’re so sorry to hear that the cap has been falling off and causing some mishaps! We completely understand how frustrating that must be.
After applying your Lip Sketch, we recommend securely pushing the cap down, almost until you feel it lock into place. A few of us have tested this and found that it took a bit more effort to remove the cap, while the lid stayed securely in place.
We’ve also noticed that little air pockets can sometimes form when placing the cap on jumbo pencils like Lip Sketch, which can prevent the lid from fully securing. To ensure the cap is completely on, we recommend placing it on, giving it a slight twist, and then pushing it down firmly. This should help prevent it from coming off.
As for wear time, eating and drinking can certainly affect how long a lip product lasts. For longer wear, you can also try applying Lip Sketch to clean, dry lips and lightly blotting after application. Please also note that applying an balm or gloss on top of the lip crayon will also affect the wear time.
