Love. This. Beautiful finish. Semi matte, flatteringly blurring, doesn’t look like you’re wearing pancake makeup. I’ve used many finishing powders, and in all combinations of hot/humid weather. This one just might be my favortie of all.

One big problem; first the positives: The color is lovley, it applies easily and smoothly, improves the look of skin and blurs imperfections. It’s also long lasting. But, help me, it is fantastically shiny. It takes “dewy” to a rainforest-level-humidity level. Since I have a bony face, even basic dewiness ends up making me look sweaty. The shine this delivers is so thoroughly overvlown that I have to use three times the powder to tame it. (And, of course, reapply occassionally throughout the day.) For a woman who doesn’t need a semi-matte foundation JUST to be presentable, this probably wouldn’t be a problem. But for me…I won’t reorder. Still giving it four stars though, because, like everything I’ve used from Ilia, it’s a quality product.

I used it over the tinted skin serum, and it removes the liquid sheen well. However, I need to try it with a brush applicator to confirm I'm not just removing the skin serum.
