The Skin Tint + Finishing Powder Duo

This is such a beautiful powder! It is a great setting powder and finishing powder. It truly gives a soft focus effect. I am in my 40s so I usually stay away from powder because I don’t want my skin to look dry and I don’t want to emphasize texture or fine lines. This powder is so lightweight and finely milled that it sets my base and my concealer without making my skin look dry or textured. My concealer stays on all day without creasing. I am so happy to find a powder that works for me. I received this product free from Ilia.

I have the finishing powder in deep translucent and when I received this to try out and give my opinions I couldn’t be happier. I have other products from Ilia I have purchased with my own money and continue to use as well, so I am familiar with their quality. I love the way the compact looks, so clean and simple. It comes with a sponge and the powder is covered with a separate lid as well. This way I can control how much powder I put on the sponge and any oils from my skin are not sitting directly on the powder.

I have not used any powder on my skin in at least a year for my everyday makeup looks. I have dry skin and I don’t like any tight feeling as if my face is going to crack. The Squalane makes this powder feel hydrating and silky smooth. It also finishes my face and gives me a much prettier look to my makeup. I told myself the natural dewy look was ok on me, but honestly my face looks really good with some powder. I definitely recommend this!
