Job Description:

  • Build 360 marketing plans, in partnership with Executive Director and SVP of Marketing
  • Drive consumer marketing plans and prioritization within the go-to-market process, balancing global, regional and channel needs for both wholesale +
  • Manage, ideate and execute focused marketing to support overall calendar and priorities
  • Own daily correspondence with e-commerce + social media teams, supporting them in day-to-day needs, ensuring all marketing material is consistent across all channels
  • Collaborate with PR, sales, creative and operations teams to develop and execute new launches and promote evergreen campaigns
  • Develop and source all institutional brand collateral for ILIA
  • Support launch plan for all newness from ideation to shelf
  • Partner closely with Retail Marketing Manager to ensure wholesale has all content necessary for launch and sustain plan, as well as maintain marketing calendars to ensure all activations are tracked and updated as programs shift
  • Partner with copywriter on all product positioning, ingredient benefits and storytelling
  • Own competitive analyses to gain insights on product positioning, pricing and stay on top of industry trends
  • Partner with Product Development to ensure all product information and consumer survey information is readily available for launch for all channels 
  • Manage always on core support plan for bestsellers, celebrating our heroes and thinking of new ways to highlight them
  • Create launch decks and recaps for all new product launches
  • Disseminate ILIA creative assets, ensuring consistency across all channels
  • Partner with Copywriter to ensure consistency in voice and tone across all channels
  • Manage all pre-production planning and photoshoot execution alongside marketing and creative teams
  • Submit brand marketing creative requests and manage timelines to ensure deliverables arrive on time and in budget
  • Manage presentation creation for major internal and external meetings (market week & sales seminar decks and meeting prep)
  • Track annual marketing budget and reconcile monthly actuals
  • When possible, attend brand & industry events as a representative of ILIA with the objective of creating content, and connecting with the community in real life
  • Stay up to date on market trends, launches and events



  • Strong understanding the beauty industry
  • Must be a strong storyteller and communicator 
  • Must understand ILIA’s aesthetic and support our image across all touchpoints 
  • Creative and organized
  • Strong attention to detail, specifically deadlines, spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously within time constraints
  • Experience working with a small/rapidly growing business is a huge plus
  • Passion for makeup and skincare 
  • Ideal candidate would come from beauty industry and experience with makeup is a plus
