What currency are your prices in? 

We are based in beautiful Laguna Beach, California and all prices displayed are in US dollars (USD).

What if I need to change or cancel my order? 

Once an order is placed, we’re unable to make any changes. If you do need us to cancel an order, please reach out to Customer Service right away and be sure to include your order number in your request. We process orders as quickly as possible, but we’ll do our best to catch it before it goes out! Once an order has been dispatched, we are unable to cancel the order and it will need to be processed as a return.

What’s the status of my order?

Once you’ve received your shipping confirmation email you can click on "Track It" and see the status of your delivery. It may take 24 hours for tracking updates to appear.

My package is lost! 

Oh no! If your package has been lost in transit, please reach out to our Customer Service Team right away. 

*After an order has been delivered to the correct shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.

What is an e-gift card? 

An e-gift card is a credit that you can apply to a purchase. You can redeem an e-gift card at checkout or apply it to your account under Payment Info. If you select it as the payment option at checkout it will be applied to your purchase. Sorry, e-gift cards cannot be retroactively applied to an order once it has been placed.

Where Can I use the E-Gift Card?

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and ILIA Beauty E-Gift Cards.

Can I use a promo code on top of a promotion?

Unfortunately, at this time promotions and discount offers cannot be combined.

Do you have a "gift" option?

How can I edit my shipping address?

What if something I ordered arrived damaged?

What does it mean if an item is Out Of Stock? 

If an item is out of stock it means that we will most likely be making more! Sign up with your email. We will email you to let you know if it becomes available.

Where can I purchase a ILIA e-gift card? 

You can purchase an e-gift card here. E-gift cards cannot be used to purchase another e-gift card or refunded.

Something I ordered is now on sale. Will you match the new price? 

Sorry, price adjustments will not be done for items with a reduced price.

Can I use multiple promo codes at checkout?

How much does shipping cost in the U.S.? 

USPS Standard shipping is free on all orders over $75.00 or $5.80. We also offer expedited shipping for additional charges.

How fast is your international shipping? 

Most of our orders are shipped within 2 business days of purchase from our sunny Los Angeles warehouse, pending availability and credit verification. Once your order is shipped, we estimate you will receive your order within 10-14 business days*** of its ship date.

Shipping times may vary, but rest assured we work our hardest to get you your order as quickly as possible. Please note, we do not ship on the weekend or US holidays.

Do you ship to international P.O. boxes? 

Sorry, we can’t ship to P.O. boxes yet. If you entered a P.O. box as your delivery address we will reach out to get an alternative address which may delay your delivery.

How fast is your shipping?

Most of our orders are shipped within 2 business days of purchase from our sunny Los Angeles warehouse, pending availability and credit verification. Once your order is shipped, we estimate you will receive your order within 5-10 business days of its ship date if you are located within the continental U.S., or 2-4 weeks if you are located in Hawaii or Alaska. If you need your item(s) sooner, please select an expedited shipping option. Shipping times may vary, but rest assured we work our hardest to get you your order as quickly as possible. Any additional shipping costs are nonrefundable. 

We do not ship on the weekend or U.S. holidays, and we do not offer Saturday delivery yet.

Can I get my international order faster? 

Right now, we do not offer expedited international shipping.

RETURNS

What is your online return policy? 

For online orders, we accept products in new, unused and unopened condition in original packaging for a full refund. There’s no restocking fee, however you are responsible for return shipping fees.

You have 30 days from the ship date to get your return back to us. Your refund will be credited to the original form of payment used to make the purchase.

ILIA Beauty monitors returns to identify potential misuse or abuse of our return policies. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. For mailing instructions, please email our Customer Service team.

Can I exchange my product? 

If you would like to exchange something and you are within the 30-day period, please reach out to Customer Services for next steps.

What if my return is late? 

Any returns received more than 30 days from the ship date are ineligible for return and will be automatically reshipped to the customer upon receipt to the address on file.

When will I get my refund? 

Once we receive your return, please allow 3-4 business days for your return to be processed and then 5-10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account. Your refund can only be credited back to the original form of payment. We’ll send you an email when our team has processed your refund so you know it’s on the way.

Do you offer samples?

Yes, you can choose a complimentary sample with any online purchase during checkout. At this time, we do not offer samples for sale. Stay tuned for updates!

What skin types are ILIA products suitable for?

Our products are appropriate for all skin types: they’re phthalate, sulfate and paraben free. Non-GMO, gluten free and talc free.

Does ILIA test on animals?

We would never! We carry the Leaping Bunny certification which means none of our products are tested on our furry friends.

How can I learn more about a product?

Will my product melt/dry/freeze/expire/etc.?

If your ILIA product is subjected to excessive heat or cold for short periods of time, it will not impact the product’s efficacy, although it may result in a texture variance. Prolonged exposure may cause a product to spoil or be less effective. 

We recommend using your ILIA products within 2 years of the manufacture date or 12 months after opening for best product quality.

Where do your dyes and pigments come from? (carmine, mica, etc)

We use FDA approved Food-Grade dyes

Do ILIA products contain preservatives like Phenoxyethanol?

Yes, the only preservative we use is Phenoxyethanol. Phenoxyethanol Alcohol is an organic compound that is a mild alcohol derived from flowers. It is used as a natural preservative in place of other preservatives such as parabens. Any alcohol content will evaporate immediately when applied to the skin.

Are any of your products vegan?

Yes! A handful of our products are vegan. The only non-vegan ingredient we use is Beeswax and the following products DO NOT contain it:

Do you perform heavy metal testing?

At this time, we do not perform heavy metal testing. However, we only use the highest-grade pigments, sourced from the Loire Valley in France.

Is your SPF non-Nano?

Yes! We only use non-Nano, uncoated Zinc Oxide.

Where is your Tocopherol derived from?

Our tocopherol is naturally derived from pressed flowers (Vitamin E).

What are food grade dyes?

We have used small percentages of synthetics in some our products from the very beginning and are very open and transparent about why. Food Grade dye is a synthetic form of color and is derived from the same source as Dimethicone. The choice to use Food Grade Dye was preferred over the use of Carmine (crushed beetle skin) when formulating certain lip colors in order to obtain a stronger hue. The majority of the product is made up of natural mineral dyes, yet some do contain low percentages (2% or less) of food grade. There are hidden dangers throughout the industry and many of the natural mineral dyes are harvested by children in India who are treated very poorly. For ILIA it is important to understand the complete picture and make a choice on what we choose to support and why.

Do any of your products contain Arnica?

Yes, we use a small amount of Arnica in our Vivid Concealer. Arnica is more commonly known for sore muscles, bruising or swelling of the skin. All of these things can be found underneath the eyes, or at least tiredness can show through with puffiness and dark circles. Arnica aids in relieving swelling under the eyes.

Do any ILIA products contain lead?

We use mineral based pigments, which are iron oxides, as a base and are derived naturally - these will all contain minimal amounts of metals including lead since they are derived from the earth. The lead content would be equivalent to what is found in a cup of coffee...yes, we receive more exposure from day to day items than from certain cosmetics, including ILIA!

What is your SPF source?

We use a combination of both Titanium Oxide and Zinc Oxide for a 100% Natural SPF.

What is ILIA formulated WITHOUT?

Parabens, Phthalates, Sulfates, GMO, Synthetic Fragrances, gluten, and talc
