Unfortunately, I bought these for Christmas, but didn't get around to trying until now, and because they were not full price and it's over 60 days as of last Friday, I can't return.
I tried mythic , which I've wanted for years. It's terrible. Please see photos. No matter what I did, i couldn't get it to apply evenly whether over moisturized skin, bare skin, f/x or primer. And the previous matte green (hatch) I purchased that was a lovely color but very tricky to apply, has now also had the applicator break so it's useless.
I haven't even tried the matte purple or gray at this point because it's been so disappointing. I don't care if you are a clean brand, when you charge the prices ilia does (even on sale) the performance better be there as well.
I wasted my money. Next time I'll stick with Beckham beauty or similar which are far superior for the price (and also clean!).

I have purchased three tubes of this cream eyeshadow. I really wanted it to work but I have never liked it. I have purchased Fresco, Hatch and Aura. My favorite of the three is Aura. Fresco and hatch went on looking like they gave me a black eye. They were very difficult to work with. One of my main complaints about all three of them is that after they are applied, they create sensitivity around my eyes and they kind of have a subtle sensitivity slight irritation sensation. Personally, I would not recommend these to anybody.
I will enclose a photo of me wearing the aura eyeshadow with just the ilia mascara, no other makeup.

I bought this because I really like the green color (juniper), but I’m having trouble getting it to apply evenly just dabbing it on with my finger. I think maybe the formula needs to be more sheer, and maybe a little shimmer wouldn’t hurt. I also found that this product creases on my hooded eyes which was disappointing. Overall, I do like it enough to keep it. I added a little gold powder over it and I think it has a nice effect.
