This mascara goes on smoothly and gives my lashes a lifted look without feeling heavy or clumpy. The brown shade softens the overall effect, making it great for everyday wear. It separates and lengthens well, and I like that it doesn’t flake or smudge throughout the day. It doesn’t irritate my eyes, which can be an issue with some other mascaras.

I liked the brown color rather than the normal black. This is a nice everyday mascara. The clean formula is ok. It did flake a bit after hours of wearing it. It was a good product.

I never thought I would prefer a brown mascara, but ILIA's Before Dawn has changed my mind! It looks much more natural and less harsh than the black mascara I usually wear. I received this product free, to review, and I'm so glad that I did! After only one coat, you can see the lengthening and volumizing it provides. It lasts all day, and doesn't flake or smudge. It will definitely be a staple in my makeup routine from now on!

I’m utterly shocked by how well this mascara worked for me. I have straight lashes that don’t hold a curl well and often mascara formulas can be too heavy and wet which causes them to weigh down. This formula however is light and airy, it glided onto my lashes and coated them so nicely giving the perfect your lashes but better look to them. I have the rich brown color and it really complimented my brown eyes. It wore beautifully throughout the day and didn’t smudge or flake. I have been transitioning all my makeup over to clean beauty, bunny certified brands , this is the first time I have tried anything from this brand and I’m 100% sold! I will definitely be recommending this product and trying more in the future. I was sent this item complimentary in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. I’ve included two photos. One is me without mascara while I’m outside in the snow and the second is me with one coat of the rich brown mascara on.

This is my second time buying this mascara so I just wanted to share my results! I really like it. The dual sided wand is great for building volume and lengthening/separating lashes. It definitely gives a natural look instead of a full lash extension look. I love using this without any eyeliner (but when using eyeliner, I would be very light with it). My only complaint is that it does not hold up to water or tears very well, and when it gets in my eyes, it stings. If it weren’t for the stinging, I would rate higher. I however keep coming back to it for its clean ingredient list. The first two photos show one eye with and without the mascara, and last has it on both eyes.
