What it is: Bridging the gap between makeup and skincare, ILIA’s True Skin Radiant Priming Serum does more than create a perfect base for makeup application. Utilizing ingredients like Hibiscus Extract, Aloe and Beta-Glucan, this silicone-free primer helps to firm, moisturize and soothe skin, while protecting it from harmful environmental factors that cause aging.

How it works: Upon application, the serum has a tightening effect that diminishes the look of pores and fine lines, while improving skin texture on dry down for a silky and soft-to-the-touch feel. Skin is left with a radiant glow and prepped for effortless makeup application that lasts.

How much product should I use?

We recommend applying up to a quarter dropper, which equals 3-4 drops into the palm of your hand, then press into your skin like you would with a serum. Less is more with this product. We recommend waiting at least 1 minute for the product to sink in.

How can I get a smoother application?

If you apply too much or do not allow it to absorb before you apply another complexion product, it may pill. When pairing True Skin Radiant Priming Serum with Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40, apply a light layer and let the priming serum set for 1 minute before product application.

    What am I paying for?

    Ya know, Ilia's products are so wonderful that they don't need all of this extra. When I purchased the primer, I was hoping that it would diminish the appearance of my pores. It didn't. I thought it would make the makeup on top of it look smoother it peeled and made things look crusty. And then I learned how to use the product. I allowed to completely dry. I also patted on my skin tint afterwards instead of rubbed it in. I like the product with nothing on top. It does nothing for makeup. It doesn't rival regular plain Aloe Vera gel.

    I LOVE, this product. I tried a free sample and within days had to order the full size product. I’m typically a very little to none kind of makeup person, but discovering Ilia has changed my tune. It feels good and looks good! Soft skin, used alone or as a base for light makeup, it gives a subtle glow too. Best primer I’ve ever used.
